Study on Preparation and Rheological Properties of 3D Printed Pre-Foaming Concrete

The high fluidity and low yield stress of fresh foam concrete affect the shape stability buildability in printing process, which is quite a challenge to its application digital construction. Therefore, this article proposes preparation characteristics 3D printed pre-foaming (3DFC). rheological properties proved that addition 0.1 wt.% Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) 3DFCs weakens but increases static apparent viscosity, thus enhancing buildability. More importantly, influences surfactant on property, compressive strength, pore structure thermal conductivity were evaluated. Analysis results show decreases from 1735 687 Pa with dosage 0 2 wt.%. Moreover, significantly reduced viscosity (especially at shear rates), recovery rate was basically unchanged, good for Thanks increase porosity, volume density decreased 2211 1159 kg/m3, strength also slightly. shows insulation performance range 0.2254–0.2879 W/m·K, due porosity 3DFCs. Finally, order verify practical value 3DFCs, an industrial product more than 30 layers during field displayed.
